Our PDF splitter reads the complete structure of your uploaded document and creates new PDFs containing only the pages you select. Each resulting file is a standalone PDF that retains all original formatting, fonts, images, and metadata from the source. The tool offers multiple split modes to fit different needs: extract individual pages by clicking thumbnails, define custom page ranges, split into equal chunks of N pages each, or separate every page into its own file. You can also use quick-select buttons to choose all odd pages, all even pages, or the first half of the document. Optionally, the tool can generate a second file containing the remaining pages you did not select. All processing happens instantly, and you can download files individually or together as a ZIP archive.
We take document security seriously. Every file is processed in a sandboxed environment with end-to-end encryption. Documents are automatically purged after download, and our servers never retain copies. The entire workflow is GDPR-compliant, ensuring your data stays private.
When you need to separate a document into two parts (e.g., the first 5 pages and everything else), select the pages you want and enable 'Create file with remaining pages.' You will get two perfectly split PDFs in one operation.

Yes. Files are uploaded via encrypted HTTPS, processed in isolation, and deleted automatically after download. We never access, read, or store your document content.
The tool extracts your selected pages into one output file per operation. To create multiple files with overlapping pages, run the splitter multiple times with different selections.
If the PDF requires a password to open, you must unlock it first. If it only has an owner password restricting printing or editing, the splitter will process it normally.
